"Scott is a visionary with tremendous experience in brand development and entertainment marketing”.
Welcome to my life. I am Scott Holmes, happily married to the love of my life, Gina, and blessed with two healthy growing boys. My passion for serving led me to a non-profit organization, Vitamin Angels, where I continue to serve today on the Advisory Board, and dedicated to providing vital nutrients to save lives for over 70 million children and their mother’s with prenatal care worldwide.
My journey has been one of innovation, creativity, and a commitment to making a positive impact through entertainment and social commerce. It all began in the early 1990s when I had the privilege of working with the iconic and beloved Norman Lear, the writer and executive producer of numerous TV shows and movies. Later, I ventured into Sales & Marketing with another iconic brand, Dr. Martens footwear, building the brand's reputation on the feet of artists.
Understanding the power of branded entertainment, I combined my entertainment and retail background to work with Fortune 500 companies and startups alike. One of the defining moments in my career was co-founding United Future, the "Union of Creative & Technology," where we played a crucial role in defining and deploying the first true interactive television with Sony and Time Warner. We also launched various studio and TV series online applications for ABC / Disney, and our interactive wall design was featured in the Wall Street Journal, leading to many more interactive commerce displays.
I firmly believe in the connection between entertainment and retail, and to further demonstrate branded entertainment, helped conceptualize and produced one of the earliest branded web series, "Kings of Fi$H," for San Pedro Fish Market. The series not only won several awards but also propelled their business into a multi-million dollar enterprise over the following two years.
Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in industry organizations, serving as an executive member of the Interactive Television Alliance, and a member of the New Media Peer Group for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. My dedication to the mobile industry was recognized by the Mobile Excellence Association Awards, naming me Mobile Ambassador for two consecutive years.
Working with prestigious clients such as General Motors, Jaguar, T-Mobile, Autodesk, Western Digital, Yokohama, and others has been a rewarding experience. After exiting United Future in 2014, I continued my passion for supporting startups and co-founded IMMORDL, a healthier for you “Nitro Super Coffee”, which received praise from the New York Times as "Liquid Luxury" and won Best of Show at Natural Expo West in Anaheim.
I feel incredibly blessed to live a purpose-filled life and I AM open to supporting and serving others in reaching their ambitions.
